I infuse my years of experience as an occupational therapist with the practice of Yoga to bring the gift of movement, connection, and healing. My passion for sharing healing wisdom and holding nurturing space for others leaves an open invitation to explore the path of awareness and presence together. My class offerings are grounded in knowledge of movement patterns, anatomy, neuroscience, the subtle body, and Yoga traditions.  I often incorporate the wisdom of developmental, sensory, and functional movement patterns into my Yoga classes. It is through these archetypal movements we can support the systems of the body through integrative movement and breath. Classes are a space to play and discover freedom and connection through breath, rhythm, embodiment, and presence. I teach Yoga Rx and Vinyasa classes.

Therapeutic Yoga/Yoga Rx

A practice weaving therapeutic modalities and principles of yoga together. Each class will target an area of the body and/or pattern of movement. Explore functional movement, integrative movement patterns, and embodiment practices that support you on an energetic and physical level. Great for those recovering from injury, looking to build body awareness, improve quality and integrity of movement, support mental health and healing. 

Vinyasa

Vinyasa is a class centered around connecting movement and breath. This practice is an invitation to awaken the subtle, energetic, and physical body through the use of postures (asana) and breath. You can expect a playful, dynamic practice that moves at a rhythmic pace. 

Private Yoga:

Private sessions are offered for individuals and small groups. These classes are customized for your unique needs and interests. Private sessions are a wonderful way to gain insight into how you can customize an informed and mindful movement and breath practice to best meet your needs. I specialize in supporting individuals with chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, and pelvic health concerns.
