What if there is a way to move the body beyond the patterns of pain, tension, and bracing that interfere with our ability the thrive in our daily lives?

There are many effective techniques to the art of healing and body work that support mental and physical health. I offer a unique perspective to integrative and holistic therapy. I specialize in addressing the underlying body based connections that support mental health, regulation, and nervous system resilience. I use my vast training and experience in sensory processing, body work, somatics, movement practices, pelvic health, breath work, yoga, reflex integration, attachment, and trauma to help individuals understand their body and nervous system.

We all take in information from our experiences through our body, process it, and then do something with it. Through this human experience we develop patterns that help us make sense of that experience through the way we move, interact, explore, learn, and protect. If we learn to survive with these patterns without integrating them, we hold onto them, leaving ourselves in a place of pain and struggle.  What if it doesn’t have to be that way? What if your body can learn new ways of feeling safe and connected so that you have the vitality and agency to do the things that are important to you?

During treatment sessions, you will be supported to explore, sense, and create connections with your soma (body) and nervous system through breath, movement and regulation patterns. Sessions are customized to support you in your journey. Through this process you may find yourself accessing a sense of vitality, empowerment, challenge, awareness, and presence. I highly recommended that you are supported my mental health counselor or have one in your life you know you can access while doing this work.
